My name is Misiksk Jadis. I am an Mi'kmaq woman originally from Abegweit First Nation in Prince Edward Island, but I grew up in southern Alberta. I am 24 years old and have been doing photography since I was 17. I've always been fascinated by culture and the environment around me. I love capturing amazing moments in time and preserving that memory forever. I strive to incorporate as much of my Indigenous culture into my images, so that others can see through our lens.
